A drunk Vining!

This highly unusual occurrence took place on Saturday 17th August 1991 aboard 47201 on the 09:35 Birmingham-Yarmouth. A few too money Rum & Blacks had taken their toll, with some outrageous screaming and punching of the air! He had to sober up quickly though, as '201 failed at Luffenham and we had to beat a hasty retreat onto the ballast when we found out the rescue engine (a Ped we thought) was coming from Peterborough. In the event 47433 turned up with a fitter who managed to revive '201. Meanwhile we had found a pub nearby and rang for a taxi to take us to Melton Mowbray for a unit to Leicester for 47194 on the 10:05 ex Yarmouth. Turns out that 201 made 194 at Peterborough as well...
