John was in charge of doing TOPS enquiries that day and as I popped in for a chat some photographer from the RfD house magazine persuaded us to pose for a photo! John was very good to us in the latter years of the depot being open, he was most accommodating — a true gent. Saturday 27th April 1996. (NA)
